Emma C. McCormick, 97 formerly of Lee and Monon, died Wednesday, January 19, 2000 at Monticello Healthcare Center.
A lifelong
resident of White County, she was born Nov. 22, 1902, to Wilhelm and Bertha
Amelia Schulz, in Lee. She was
married
Nov. 21, 1923, to Martin Edward McCormick in Reynolds. He died April 18,
1971.
She was a member of St. Francis Solano Catholic Church, Francesville.
She is survived by daughters, Margaret Lucille (Raymond) Miller of LaCrosse, Mary Alice (Wilmer) Altman of Ambia, Particia Ann (Herbert) McKay of Obetz, Ohio; Charlotte Marie (Norman) Winner of Gwinn, Mich. And Donna Elizabeth (Edward) Rodwine of August, Kansas, sons Joseph Charles (Margaret) McCormick of LaCrosse, Robert James (Marilyn) McCormick of Winamac, Glen Edward (Chris) McCormick of South Chicago Heights, IL, Carl William (Phyllis) McCormick of Lockport, IL and Kenneth John (Barbara) McCormick of Monon, 30 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
Five sisters: Anna Miller, Lena Wacker, Amelia Waling, Minnia Zabel and Wilma Rogers, a daughter Frances Jean McCormick and a son Thomas Richard McCormick are deceased.
A funeral mass was celebrated Saturday at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church in Francesville with the Rev. Paul White ofliciating. Kellogg Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Burial
was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Reynolds.
