Wilma McClure, 78, R.2, Wolcott, died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 12, in her home.

She was born June 10, 1914,  to Bill and Lavina Darnell Johnson, in Chalmers. She was married in 1936 to Oliver McClure, who died in 1984.

She graduated from Chalmers High School and in 1936 moved to Wolcott when she was married.

She was a member of the Wolcott Baptist Church and the Missionary Society of the church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Richard (Dorothy) Foutch, Monticello; three sons, Ralph, Freeport, Ill and Richard and Ronald, both of Wolcott; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The funeral was Tuesday, in Foster Funeral Home, Wolcott, with the Rev. Jan Hobbs, officiating.

Burial was in Remington Cemetery.
