Robert McClure, 45, Rt.1, Chalmers, died Sunday, Dec. 3, at 10:15 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been ill for approximately six months.
He was born Oct. 18, 1944, to Oliver and Wilma Johnson McClure, in Lafayette. He was married Oct. 14, 1967, to Susan Mathew, who survives.
He was a farmer and a lifelong resident of the Wolcott and Chalmers area.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Reynolds and served in the National Guard from 1961-66.
Survivors include his mother of Wolcott; a son, Doug McClure, Chalmers; two daughters, Diana McClure, Chalmers and Jill Mc Clure, Wolcott; a sister, Mrs Richard (Dorothy) Foutch, Monticello; and three brothers, Ralph, Freeport, Ill. and Richard and Ronald, both of Wolcott. A sister is deceased.
The funeral was conducted Wednesday in Foster Funeral Home at Wolcott, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ron Spyker officiatlng.
Burial was in Remington. Cemetery.
