Sue Marie McCabe, 76, formerly of Chalmers, died April 8 in Chicago.  She was born July 20, 1971, at Cissna Park, Illinois, to Daniel and Marie Wann. She married Roland D. McCabe in 1941 and he died in 1976.

She graduated from Chalmers High School in 1934.

Surviving are three sons: Richard, Stephen and James, all of Chicago; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters, Beulah and Opal Altman, Chalmers, Lucille Lehmann, Belleville, Ill., and JoAnn Martin, Fort Wayne; four brothers, Earl Wann, Monticello, Ivan Wann, Mellott, Dean Wann, Tecumseh, Mich., and Robert Wann of Indianapolis.

One sister and one brother are deceased.

A memorial service was conducted in Chicago.
