Neva P. (Brugh) May, 102, formerly of Brookston died at the home of her son Clarence may in West Lafayette on Monday, December 7, 1998..

She was born June 20, 1896 in Brookston, the daughter of Charles and Daisy Jakes Brough. A homemaker, she worked at ALCOA during World War II. She also worked at Brown Rubber Co. in Lafayette.

She married Robert F. (Bert) May on January 19, 1916 in Brookston and he died February 14, 1979.

One son, Clarence V. May of West Lafayette survives along with 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and three sisters preceded he in death.

She was a former member of Pine Grove Methodist Church Ladies Aid and former member of Round Grove Home Demonstration Club.

Funeral services will be held in the Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Friends may call at the funeral home an hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brookston. Memorials may be made to Brookston Federation Church.
