Kenneth D. Martin, 83, of Brookston, died Monday, October 3, 2005 at University Place, West Lafayette following a short battle with cancer.

He was born at Attica on August 5, 1922.

He married Barbara "Jolyne" Fletcher at the Federated Church in Brookston on July 23, 1967. She survives.

Other survivors include sons, Larry (Mary) Martin, Terry Martin, Sr., David (Kelly) Martin, Kenneth "Butch" (Dawn) Martin, and Loren (Susan) Sniffin; daughters Annette Steele, Jody (Tim) Pierson, and Barbara (Brian) Brewer; brothers, Lowell (Lillie) Martin and Dan "Carroll" (Audrey) Martin; 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service was Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston.
