Metta Margaret Martincich

Metta Margaret Martincich, 59, of Delphi (Yeoman) died Friday, January 21, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.

She was born at Logansport on October 24, 1945, to Howard and Ruth Nichols Ezra. She married Jersey Martincich at Robertsdale, Ind., in January of 1967. He survives.

She graduated from Highland High School, Highland, Ind., and then went to the Music Conservatory of Chicago.

She was an elementary music teacher for more than 25 years, teaching in Lafayette and Huntington Catholic Schools.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Reynolds.

She loved to do crafts and spend time with her grandchildren and family.

Other survivors include sons, Vince (Kim Samuels) Martincich of Winamac, Tony (Nicole) Martincich of California and Luke Martincich of Bringhurst; a brother, Bruce Ezra of Flora and three grandchildren.

A son, Matt Martincich, is deceased

Graveside services were Monday at the Buffalo Cemetery with Fisher-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in charge.
