Estelle "Eck" Marshall, 80, Chalmers, a retired White Co. farmer, was dead on arrival at Home Hospital at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12.

Mr Marshall had been a patient at Americana Nursing Center since Jan. 16.

He was born in White County, April 1, 1906. He attended Chalmers schools and was a member of the Chalmers Community Church and the Monticello Moose Lodge.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs Tessie Rogers, Ashland, Ohio; Mrs Edith Oliak, Douglas, Arizona and Mrs Goldia Shigley, Chalmers.

Three sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

Services were Saturday, at the Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston, with the Rev Loren Shuman officiating. Interment was in Chalmers Community Cemetery.
