Wanda C. Mansfield, 78, of Monticello died Friday, May 28, 2004 at White County Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 16, 1926 at Monticello to Walter and Ima Hughes Criswell.

She married Delbert Mansfield. He survives.

She worked as a waitress at Captains Corner and for Ray and Leatha's.

She was a member of the Sitka Baptist Church and Monticello Order of the Eastern Star No. 165. She was an avid bowler and also enjoyed gardening. and hunting.

Other survivors include a daughter, Cindy (Lonnie) Businger of Monticello; a son Gary D. Cook of Rochester; daughter-in-law Linda L. Cook of Monticello; step-sons Delbert "Buster" (Charlene) Mansfield of Denver, Colo., and David "Dave" (Beth) Mansfield of Plainfleld.

A grandson, Doug Mansfield, a son Wayne Cook, a stepson, Alan Mansfield and brothers William and Erwin Criswell preceded her in death.

Funeral services were today at Fisher-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monticello with burial in Hughes Cemetery near Monticello.
