Shirley J. Malchow

Shirley J. Malchow, 62, of Monticello, died Sunday, November 10, 2002 at her residence.

She was born in Cass County on April 9, 1940, to Herbert V. and Mary P. Henline Rance. She married Glen Malchow at Monticello on January 6, 1988. He died on August 26, 2001.

She graduated from Logansport High School and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.

She liked to crochet.

Survivors include sons, Joseph S. Hernandez II of Monticello and Ronald Hernandez of Lebanon; daughters Cindy Tyler and Tammy J. Hernandez both of Lebanon; a stepson, Tim Hickman of San Antonio, Texas; a brother Terry D. Rance of Logansport; sisters Darlene Blackman of Fort Wayne and Barbara McCoy of Monticello; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren

Brothers Norman Rance and Ronald Rance are deceased.

Funeral services were this morning at Fisher-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in Monticello with the Rev. James Goodrum officiating.

Burial was at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
