Larry W, Malaska, 50, of Battle Ground, was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday morning, Jan. 5, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 23, 1948, to Ora and Martha Moore Malaska, in Lafayette. He was married Jan. 29 1972, to Ann Reid in San Francisco, and she survives.

He graduated in 1967 from Jefferson High School in Lafayette.

He served in the U.S. Army in communications and was discharged in 1971.

He had resided for 20 years, in Battle Ground.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, West Lafayette.

He was a member of the Battle Ground Saddle Club.

Along with his wife, he is survived by a sister, Linda Hendrickson, Lafayette.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Doris Hicks, Mary Chatfield and the Rev. Clyde Tilley officiating.

Burial was in Liberty Chapel Cemetery, Tippecanoe County.
