Bernard C. Maienbrook
Bernard C. Maienbrook, 75, of Monon died Friday, December 2, 2005 at White County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Rensselaer on July 12, 1930 to John Joseph and Myrtle E. (Scripture) Maienbrook.
He married Martha Warne on April 11, 1950 in Rensselaer. She survives.
He was a 1948 graduate of Rensselaer High School and had lived in Rensselaer and Remington from 1950 until moving to Monon in 1966.
He farmed from 1948 until 1962. He had also been a carpenter for eight years and from 1963-1981, he worked as a quality control welder at Alloy Rods in Monticello.
Other survivors include daughters Rebecca Ann Green, Monon, Debra Kay (Steve) Tiede, Rensselaer and Cindy Joan Maienbrook of Monon; sons Russell Duane Maienbrook, Monon and Ty Alan Maienbrook, Crown Point; a brother Joe "Mickey" Maienbrook, Rensselaer; sisters Reginia Beoughter, Austin, Texas, and Mary (Charles) Schultz, Sun City, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Rev. Larry Piatt officiating.
Burial was at Weston Cemetery.
