Mrs Velma J. Parker Lyon, 58, Brookston, died Monday at 3:30 p.m. in Home Hospital, Lafayette.

She was born July 13, 1931, in LaPorte She was an inspector at CTS Microelectronics for 10 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Doriann Siuda, Michigan City and Mrs Trisha Bellah, Brookston; and two sons, Frank Douglas, Waukegan, Ill. and Stuart Parker, Brookston. Also five grandchildren survive.

Service was 11 a.m. today at Root Funeral Home, Michigan City. Cremation will follow with inurnment at a later date.
