Betty (Wright) Lutes, 78, 703 W. Harrison St., Monon, died Thursday. May 6, at 6:15 pm. in the Parkxiew Haven Retirement Home, Francesville.

She was born Nov. 3, 1920 to James and Minnie Bell Langford Holiday. in Luverne, Alabama. She was married Jan. 22, 1994, to Chester Lutes in Monon and he survives.

She had resided in Monon and Francesville most of her life.

She had been employed in interior decorating as a painter and wallpaper hanger

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Francesville.

Surviving with her husband are a son, David Day of Blythesyille, Ohio; a sister, Nell Gainey of Luverne, Ala.; a grandchild and a great grandchild

Funeral services were Saturday, in Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville, with Jim Ketchen officiating.

Burial was in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
