Kenneth F. Lowry, 65, of Reynolds died Monday, August 21, 2000 at his residence.

He was born February 17, 1935 in Francesville, the son of Donald and Catherine Bayless Lowry. He married Phyllis Kracht on August 17, 1958 in Medaryville. She survives.

He had lived in Francesville all his life until recently moving to Reynolds.

He was in the Fertilizer and Chemical business in Francesville for many years. He had served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Minneapolis-Moline farm equipment fan.

He was a member of the St. James Salem United Church of Christ.

He is survived by a daughter Karen Lowry of Reynolds and two sons: Roger and Ray Lowry both of Reynolds

Two sisters, Mary Eldridge of Rockville, IN and Donna Wen of New Brighon, MN and four brothers, Richard, Dean, and Paul Lowry of Francesville and James Lowry of Winamac. He had six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

One daughter and three sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2000 at Querry-Ulbricbt Funeral Home in Francesville with Pastor Sherry Maddox officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2000.

Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
