Nellie Marie (Newgent) Long, 87, of Titusville, Florida died Saturday, January 14, 2006 in Titusville.

She was born March 3, 1919 in Monon, to Joseph and Clara Newgent. She married Grant Fredrick Long on July 23, 1937 in Monticello. He died March 4, 1970.

She was a homemaker and long term resident of Monon and Plymouth before moving to Titusville several years ago.

She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn (Robert) Jones, Titusville, Fl; sisters Mary Putt, South Bend and Margaret Smith, Elkhart; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Plymouth, IN.
