Mary Finch Logan

Mary Finch Logan, 72, R.2, Brookston, died Monday, Dec. 2, in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She had been a patient there since Nov. 20.

She was born Sept. 18, 1919, to Birch Robert and Ina Agnes Bone Finch, in Howard County. She was married Aug. 25, 1940, to O. Orville Logan, in Winamac, and he su vives.

She graduated in 1937, from Clay Township High School in Miami County.

After moving from Parke County, she had lived in the Brookston community since 1958.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Brookston United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Prairiette Extension Homemakers Club.

Other survivors include two sons, David 0. of Lafayette and Roger L. of Monticello; a daughter, Karen S. of Lafayette; four brothers, Lloyd Finch, Marion; Robert Finch, Kokomo; Dane Finch, Tipton and Ivan Finch, Kentland; two sisters, Mrs Albert (Luella) Sprehe, Paxton, Ill, and Mrs Rex (Joan) Hardesty, Kokomo; and two grandchildren. Two brothers and a son, Robert L. preceded her in death.

The. funeral was Wednesday at Brookston United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gene Ansell and
Rev. Donald Ashley officiating.

Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, was in charge of the service.

Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.
