Lloyd E. Lehe, 71, Wolcott, died Saturday, Oct. 8, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette. He had been ill several months and hospitalized two weeks.
He was
born Oct. 1, 1923, to Amiel and Mary Hotler Lehe, in White County. He was
married
Aug. 27,
1949, to Grace Martin, who survives.
He was a life resident of White County, and farmed for 40 years northeast of Wolcott, before moving to Wolcott in 1986. He graduated from Pine Township High School.
He was a member of West Side Bible Fellowship and Gideons International. He served 12 years on the Tri-County School Board.
Surviving with his wife are two sons; Mark E, Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Michael K., Wolcott; five daughters, Carol D. Goodpaster, Mechanicsville, Md.; Joyce A. Jacks, Mesa, Arizona; Melodee L. Staggers, Indianapolis; Lori E. Cochran, Indianapolis and Lisa B. Smith, Cannel; three brothers; Richard, Otterbein, Paul, Greencastle and Simon, Brookston; a sister, Grace Allen, LaGrange, Ill. and 29 grandchildren. A brother is deceased.
Services were Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Wolcott Christian Church with Warren Dunham and David Harmon officiating.
Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette. The Foster Funeral Home, Wolcott, was in charge of arrangements.
