Raymond F. Lanoue, 75, Brookston, died Wednesday, March 6, in Home Hospital, Lafayette, where he had been a patient since Feb. 9th.
He was born Oct. 10, 1915, to Homer and Rose Deno Lanoue, in Earl Park. He was married March 25, 1940, to Clara Metzinger, in Dunnington. She survives.
For the past 11 years he had lived in Brookston. Prior to that he had lived in Rensselaer.
He was a retired farmer and factory worker.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Reynolds and a member of Catholic Order of Foresters.
Surviving with his wife, are five sons: James, Steve and Doug, all of Rensselaer, Fredrick, Remington and Gary, Warsaw; two daughters, Mrs James (Ruth) Rafferty, Lafayette and Cathy Lanoue, Brookston; one brother, Meddie, Livingston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs Homer (Lillian) Cady, Wolcott and Mrs William (Pricilla) Wallpe, Dunnington; 23 grand children and one great-grandson. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
The funeral was Saturday at
10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Reynolds, with Father Bob Fosselman
officiating. Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, was in
charge.
Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Rensselaer.
