Ada Nannette Landrum

Ada Nannette Landrum, 89, of Monticello died Thursday, December 4, 2003, at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare.

She was born at Clinton on July 2, 1914, to Thomas Francis and Nila Pullen Harris. She married George Luther Landrum at Brazil on December 19, 1936. He died May 23, 1983.

She worked at Bryan Manufacturing for more than 20 years.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Monticello. She liked crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include sons, Donald D. (Helen) Landrum of Mountain View, Mo., and Jack R. (Pam) Landrum and Richard L. (Wendy) Landrum, both of Monticello; daughters Marilyn Wagner of Monticello and Linda (Jim) VanVoorst of Brookston; brother, Charles "Jack" William (Zel) Harris of Taylorville, Ill.; a sister, Margaret LeComte of Terre Haute; 13 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine step great grandchildren.

Four brothers, two sisters and a grandson are deceased.

Funeral services were at Fisher-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home on Monday with Celebrant Carla Barker officiating.

Burial was in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
