Edna Kyburz

Edna Lorraine Kyburz, 87, formerly of Wolcott died Wednesday, August 18, 2004 in Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Francesville. She had been ill since 1996.

She was born on November 21, 1916 in Seafield, the daughter of Harvey and Sophia Oberlander Klopfenstein. She married LeRoy Kyburz on January 1, 1938. He preceded her in death.

She attended Wolcott area schools and was a homemaker.

She and her husband lived in Reynolds until 1982 when they moved to Wolcott. She had been living in various nursing homes since 1995.

She was a member of the Wolcott Apostolic Christina [sic] Church.

Survivors include sons, Lloyd (Patricia) Kyburz of Wolcott, Roger (Brenda) Kyburz of Monticello, Jerry (Nancy) Kyburz of Wolcott, Ronald (Donna) Kyburz of Monon; a brother Levi Klopfenstein of Wolcott; sisters, Viloa [sic] Kyburz of Francesville, Dorothy Belsley of Morton, IL, Pearl Nohl of Goodfie1d, IL, Wilma Knapp of Eureka, IL, 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral Services were on Friday at the Wolcott Apostolic Christian Church with ministers of the church officiating.

Burial was in the Wolcott Cemetery.
