Betty J. Krintz, 77, of Monticello, died Monday, November 11, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.

She was born in Gary on June 14, 1925, to Raymond and Dorothy Douglas Sieckman. She married Lloyd C. Krintz in Reynolds on September 2, 1945. He died May 14, 2001.

She attended high school in Reynolds.

She was a homemaker and farmed for many years in Reynolds with her husband.

She was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church, Monticello.

She painted, loved outdoor activities, fishing and traveling.

Survivors include a son, Dennis D. (Nancy) Krintz of Monticello; a daughter Beverly (Charles) Klopfenstein of Reynolds; a brother Robert (Sue) Sieckman of Reynolds; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, November 15, 2002 at New Hope Lutheran Church with Rev. George Silavs officiating.

Buria1 was in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Reynolds.
