Adam Jeffrey Krintz
Adam Jeffrey Krintz, 19, Monticello died on Saturday, June 29, 2002, at Home Hospital, Lafayette. He had been hospitalized for a week after being diagnosed with leukemia.
He was born on April 7, 1983, in Lafayette, to Jeff and Georgette Van Worst Krintz.
He lived in Monticello his entire life, and was a 2002 graduate of Twin Lakes High School.
He played basketball and was in the Spirit of Twin Lakes Marching Band. He was also on the track team his senior year. He was crowned as the basketball homecoming king as a senior.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, and had served as an altar boy at the church.
He loved playing drums, and was also in a band.
Surviving are his parents, of Monticello; sisters, Lindsey and Carly Krintz, both at home; paternal grandmother Ruth Ann Mitchell of Monticello; and several aunts and cousins. The funeral was today at Our Lady of the Lakes, with Father James Goodrum and Father Brian Doerr officiating. Miller-Roscka was in charge of the services.
Burial was at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
