Patricia Joan Kopka, 76, of Francesville, died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Anderson Community Hospital, Anderson, IN.

She was born on March 9, 1927, in Monon to Joseph T. and Evonne Curwick Hess. She married Harry Albert Kopka on August 18, 1956, in Monon. He died June 28, 1999.

She had lived in the area her entire life. She was a 1945 graduate of Monon High School.

She was a homemaker and retired farmer.

She was a member of the Monon Wesleyan Church.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Monticello and Royal Neighbors of DeMotte.

Surviving are sons, Eugene "Butch" Ramsey and Don Kopka, both of Monon and Kenneth Ramsey of Anderson; brother, Russell "Buck" Hess of Monon; sister Norma Pierce of Monon; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A son Ronald Kopka, a sister and one grandchild are deceased.

Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16 at Kellogg Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Eisner officiating.

Burial will be at Bedford Cemetery, Monon.

Memorials may be made to the Monon Wesleyan Church.
