Harra Albert Kopka, 82, Francesville, died Monday, Jnue 28, at 11:10 a.m. in Winamac Hospital.

He was born Oct. 30, 1916, to Albert and Laura Olson Kopka, in Francesville. H was married Aug. 18, 1956, to Patricia Joan Hess, in Monon. She survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in Panama and Germany.

He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by two sons. Don Kopka, Monon and Ron Kopka, Francesville; two stepsons, Butch Ramsey, Monon and Kenny Ramsey, Anderson; two sisters, Opal Steele and Ethel Siedel, both of Winamac; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A grandchild is deceased.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 am. in Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, with the Rev. Mark Dressler officiating. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery, near Monon, with graveside military rites.
