Alan Kent Kneadler, 65, of Monticello, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Home Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born at Chalmers on January 6, 1939 to Virgil T. and Ruth Catherine Carr Kneadler. He married Helen L. Birch at Monticello on July 24, 1971. She survives.
He had lived in the Monticello community all of his life.
He was a 1957 graduate of Monticello High School.
He was a farmer most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting pheasants, camping and snowmobiling.
Other survivors include daughter Becky (Jody) Connell of Monticello; sons George (Vicki) Logan of Reynolds, Larry (Tina) Brown and Virgil (Dacia) Kneadler, all of Monticello; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were Tuesday at MiIler-Roscka Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Raderstorf officiating.
