Mary Jane Klepinger, 80, of West Lafayette, died Tuesday, October 17 in Regency Place, Lafayette.

She was born June 3, 1920, to William and Mande Sherell Klepinger, in Tippecanoe County.

She graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1938 and lived in the same house in which she was born.

She worked at ARP Food Service at ALCOA, retiring in 1963.

She liked to crochet.

She is survived by brother, James and Betty Klepinger, Sr. of West Lafayette; nephews, James Klepinger Jr. and Thomas and Kathy Klepinger of Lafayette and Richard and Catherine Shipley of Ben Wheeler, Texas; nieces, Beverly Potts, West Lafayette and Susan and Danny Crawford and Janet and Merle Dulin, Brookston and 10 great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held for family and friends Thursday at the Battle Ground Cemetery with Pastor Jan Dimick officiating. Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, was in charge of arrangements.
