Charles H. Klepinger, 77, of Lafayette, died Tuesday, August 17, at Regency Place, where he had lived since June 16.
He was borh Oct. 28, 1921, in Brookston and attended Brookston High School. He was a life resident of the Lafayette area.
He was married in 1956, to Jane A. Bonnet. She preceded him in death, Jan. 29, 1990.
He served in the Air corps during World War II and was a machine operator at Ross Gear for 36 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of F&AM 154 in Monticello.
Survivors are three daughters, Nancy Brockman, Indianapolis; Mrs Dominic (Carol) DeRosa, Highland and Mrs Norman (Krystal) Jansen, Portage; a son, William H. Klepinger, Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs Zelma Gross, Big Fork, Minn. and Mrs Ida Dawson, Huntington.
Seven grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers. 5 sisters and a granddaughter.
Services were Saturday at Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Greg Eberhard officiating.
