Bernice G. Klaubo

Bernice G. Klaubo, of Monon, died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at White County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 27, 1929 the daughter of George and Pauline Bertram Hipko. She married Charles J. Klaubo, Jr., on October 28, 1950 in Hammond, Indiana. He survives.

She was a retired nurse, homemaker and had sold Avon Products.

She had lived in the Monon community for 17 years, coming from Crown Point, Indiana.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, in Monticello.

She was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School in Hammond and St. Joseph's School of Nursing, South Bend.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter; Caroline Jankovich of Crown Point and two sons, Steven Klaubo of St. John, Indiana and Thomas Klaubo of Crown Point, and four grandchilren.

A son, Michael Klaubo; three granddaughters, Victoria Klaubo, Calen Klaubo and Katelin Reeves and a grandson, Jacob Klaubo, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2003 at Kellogg Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will follow the visitation on Thursday, at the funeral home with Father James Goodrum officiating. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery at a later date.
