He was born May13, 1913, to Hazel Kiser, in White County. He was married Oct. 17, 1935 to Anna W. Burris, in Chalmers and she died Oct. 3, 1989.
He had been a life-long resident of White County.
He farmed until 1954 and then worked at White County Machine Shop until 1973.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs Lewis (Evelyn) Brewer, Monticello and Mrs Robert (Peggy) Cramer of Mission Viejo, California; a son, Larry of Chalmers; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Two sons are deceased.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 18 at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monticello. Burial was in Yeoman Cemetery.
