Henrietta Kirkendall

Henrietta Flick Kirkendall, 76, Brookston, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. She had been hospitalized since Nov. 20th.

She was born Nov. 19, 1925, to Robert and Edna Faye Wilcox Flick, in French Lick. She married Joe Kirkendall and he is deceased.

She graduated in 1943 from French Lick High School.

She lived in Florida before moving to Lalbyette, where she resided 10 years. She had lived in Brookston for two years.

She was a homemaker. While in Florida, she was a citrus inspector.

She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons Marvin (Barbara) Owens of Logansport and John (Rita) Kirkendall of Brookston; daughters Arlene Sue Kirkendall of Indianapolis; Marilyn (Randy) Howard, Delphi, Bev (Mike) Bolyard, Battle Ground and Deb (Joe) Spear of Brookston; sisters Madeleine (Owen) Simmons and Charlotte (Harold) Cave, both of lndianapolis: 13 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A brother, Robert is deceased.

Services were Saturday at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Pastor Bruce Mowery officiating.

Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brookston.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
