Leigh Adeline Kiger, 42, of rural Brookston died Wednesday, January 10, 2001 in a house fire at her residence.
She was born in Monticello on March 29, 1958. to Clayton and Marcella Smith Combs. She married Kenton Kiger in Monticello on June 29, 1988 and he survives
She attended Delphi schools and received her G.E.D. She was a homemaker and enjoyed hunting and gardening.
She is survived by her husband; stepsons. Joshua Kiger of Lebanon and Clyde (Amy) Kiger of Frankfort; her parents, Clayton and Marcella Combs of Delphi; her grandmother, Phoebe Combs of Idaville and Robert Combs of Florida; sisters, Patty Lehr of Tennessee and Teresa (Jeff) Houser of Delphi; a step grand-daughter, Alison Kiger; seven nieces: 11 nephews; two great nieces and a great nephew
public memorial service was held on Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston with Jack Kiger officiating.
