Paul S. Kidwell, 70, of 507  Shafer Drive, died Sunday morning, Feb. 12, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born Sept. 18, 1924 in LaGrange. KY to J.G. and Ethel Sanders Kidwell. He married Virginia Stethen in 1943 in LaGrange, KY, and she survives.

He was retired from farming.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and served in Italy, Sicily and Africa. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans of Monticello.

He lived in White County for the past 39 years.

Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Dick (Judy) Marks of Delphi; two brothers, James Kidwell of Louisville, KY, and Wardie Kidwell of Buckner, KY; two sisters, Bertha Kidwell of Frankfort, KY, and Judy Snell of Clarks Hill; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.

No funeral or visitation was scheduled.

Inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
