Ruby Louise Duncan Kessler, 75, former Lafayette resident died Sunday, January 10, 1999 at the Indiana Veterans home in West Lafayette.

She and her husband had farmed on Morehouse Road then moved to Lafayette. They had lived at the Veterans Home for the pest three years, She was a homemaker.

She was born May 10, 1923 in Langston, Alabama, the daughter of James and Susie Kilingsworth Duncan.

Her marriage was to Robert E. Kessler on February 3, 1969 and he survives along with a daughter Wymanette Tubbs of Mesa, Arizona and a son, Bill Joe Winston of Lafayette and one sister Rita Ward of Langstron, Alabama. She had 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Hartzler Funeral Home an Brookston at 2:00 p.m on Thursday. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before services.

Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Brookston.
