Betty J. Kesler, 66, Buffalo died at White County Memorial Hospital at 4:20 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 1999 following a 2 month illness.

She was born August 8, 1933 in  Rensselaer. the daughter of Frank and Dorothy Lucille Pearson Doyle. She married Charles "Dick" Kesler on December 7, 1951 in Monticello and he survives.

She was a homemaker and had retired from Monon Corporation after 22 years.

She is survived by five daughters: Donna Dallinger, Monticello; Diana Hickman, Buffalo; Darlene Shidler, Monon; Dina Newkirk. Francesville, Denise Rusk of' Monticello and two sons; Doug Kesler, Honolulu, Hawaii and Dwayne Kesler of Wolcott. Other survivors include two brothers, Leroy Doyle, Monon and Richard Doyle, Monticello and four sisters; Verna Ashby, Wolcott; Ruth Ann Mitchell, Atlanta, GA; Connie Harmon, Monticello; and Linda Houser, Chalmers. She had 23 grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at the Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon at 11:00 am. on Thursday, September 16, 1999 with Rev. William Kehlhofer officiating. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery
