Florence Nina Kelly, 89, formerly of Reynolds. died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998 at 5:15 p.m. at the Monticello Healthcare Center where she had resided since August of 1997.

She was a lifelong resident of the Reynolds area.

She was born Nov. 16, 1909 in White County to Myron Roy and Nellie Piatt Eddy. She married Monroe Kelly, Jr. on Sept 1, 1929 in Monticello. He died Nov. 6, 1976.

She attended Reynolds High School.

She attended the Christian Church, Reynolds, and was a member of the Mt Zion Baptist Church, Wolcott.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Monticello.

Surviving are a daughter; Virginia R. (Kelly) Walton of Indianapolis, four sons, Richard D. Kelly of Chalmers, Robert L. Kelly of Reynolds, Dale W. Kelly of Monticello and Raymond E. Kelly of Battle Ground; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

Two sisters are deceased.

Funeral services were Monday at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon with the Rev. Richard T. McQuinn officiating.

Burial was in Chalmers Cemetery.
