Edith Geneva Kelley Kaufman, 84, a resident of Brookston since 1964, died 9:05 p.m., May 21, in St Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi.
She was born Sept. 3, 1903, in Battle Ground. She moved to Brookston from Klondike in 1964.
She was married to Harry Charles Kaufman, Feb. 4, 1923 in Battle Ground. He died August 23, 1978.
Mrs Kaufman was a member of Brookston Federated Church, the Philathea Sunday school class and Liberty Chapel Friendship Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Lou Anna Rodenbarger of R.2, Delphi and Mrs Everett L. (Dorothy) Rosenbarger of Brookston. Also surviving are five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a stepgrandson and five stepgreat-grandchlldren. A number of brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Services were Saturday, at 2 p.m. in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Revs. B. James Walter and Donald Ashley officiating. Interment was in Battle Ground Cemetery.
