Olive Katherine Johns, 78, of Mesa, Arizona and formerly of Monon died Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Mesa.

She was born at Murphy, N. C. May 4, 1926 to Henry H. and Hettie Elizabeth Hickman. She married Robert G. Johns at Waveland in 1941. He died September 7, 1983.

She lived in Monon most of her life.

She was a homemaker.

She worked at Bryan Manufacturing and Indiana Beach.

She enjoyed reading the Bible, country music and gardening.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Francesville.

Survivors include sons, Robert (JoAnn) Johns of Monon, Greg (Connie) Johns of Logansport and Brian (Carmen) Johns of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Carol (Dean) Lowry of Francesville; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A sister, Mary Nation, is deceased.

Funeral Services were Monday at Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home in Francesville with Rev. James Ketchen officiating.
