Riley H. Hutsell, 82 [sic], of Monticello died Sunday, September 29, 2002 at White County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Saturday.

He was born June 20, 1914, in Salem, MO., to Richard John Silas and Minnie M. Crumpacker Hutsell. He married Bertie D. Souders on April 3, 1936 in Salem, MO. She died October 14, 1998.

He lived in White County for 54 years, and lived for 42 years at his present address.

He was a farm laborer, and also worked at RCA in Monticello. He was retired.

He was a member of the Baptist Bible Church in Chalmers.

Surviving are scns, Homer (Wanda) Hutsell of Monticello and Marion (Linda) Hutsell of Brookston; sister, Beulab Lowe of Columbia City; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

An infant daughter is deceased.

The funeral was at Hartzler Funeral Home on Wednesday with Rev. Charles Fluckey officiating.

Burial was at Chalmers Community Cemetery.
