Bertie D. Sounders Hutsell, 82, Monticello, died at her home, Wednesday, October 14, at 1 p.m.

She was born June 16, 1916 in Mountain View, Mo. Her father was Marion Levi Sauders. She was married April 3, 1936, to Riley H. Hutsell, Salem, Mo.

She had lived the past 50 years in White County.

She was a homemaker, but also worked at Bryan Manufacturing and RCA in Monticello.

She was a member of Chalmers Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors are two sons, Homer Hutsell, Monticello and Marion Hutsell, Brookston; a brother, Bud Souders, Mountain View; a sister, Dolly Webb, Alabama; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Charles Fluckey.

Burial was in the Chalmers Community Cemetery.
