James Garland Horn

James Garland Horn, 64, of  Leesburg, Florida and formerly of Wolcott and Monticello, died Thursday, April 22 in a Florida hospital.

He was born in Glendale, KY., or November 8, 1928.

He was a disabled U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He moved with his family to White county near Wolcott in 1942.

He lived in Monticello for several years and was employed at the former RCA factory until he left the company with a disability. He moved to Florida in 1983.

He was a member of the Baptist Church and life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2231 at Monticello.

Surviving are two brothers, Lovell of Leesburg and Alvester of Nebraska; a sister, Velma Nichols
of Monticello and his twin sister Nancy Gardiner of Brookston.

No visitation or memorial services were planned and Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors of Tavares, Florida was in charge of cremation.

Burial was in a Florida cemetery.
