Eugene M. Holderly, 78, Rt. 1, Chalmers, died Sunday morning, May 1, at his home. He had been in failing health for one year.
He was born in Wolcott to Ed ward Holderly and Mamie Bell on July 24, 1915. He married Aldine Toumine in Chalmers on March 16, 1952, and she survives.
He attended Wolcott schools and was a lifelong resident of the area. His occupation was farming.
He was a member of the Chalmers Community Church.
Suriving with his wife are two sons, Sid E. and Stan L., both of Chalmers; two sisters, Mrs. O.E. (Mary) Pacey of Brookston and Mrs. Edward (Elizabeth) Brehmer of Reynolds; and five grandchildren.
Three brothers are deceased.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Rev. Loren Shuman officiating.
Burial was in Chalmers Community Cemetery.
