Larry E. Holdcraft, 310 N. Walnut St., Monon, died Monday, July 14, 1998, at Comfort Care Retirement Village, Lafayette, following an illness of 10 years.

He was born March 1, 1939 to John and Berta Foster Holdcraft in Lafayette, and had lived in Monon most of his life.

He was married June 14,1959, to Leah Ann Hughes in Monon and she survives.

He was a bookkeeper for Monon Trailer and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Monon, and a former member of the First Baptist Church, Francesville, where he had been a deacon, treasurer and youth church leader. He was a former Boy Scout Leader and had served as a coach for many youth baseball teams.

He graduated in 1957 from Monon High School and attended International Business College in Fort Wayne.

He is survived by a son, Kirk Holdcraft of Thornton, Ill. and a daughter, Kathy Holdcraft Wilkerson, Monon. A brother, Fred Holdcraft of Pine Village also survives along with 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, Thursday, July 16, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Steve Birch officiating. Burial will he in Bedford Ceme tery.

Friends may call at Kellogg Funeral Home after 5:00 p.m., Wednesday.

Memorials may be given to Monon First Response or American Diabetes Association.
