Malcolm Herrington Jr.
Malcolm Truman Herrington, Jr., 68, Monticello, died Sunday, Sept. 10, at his residence.
He was born April 14, 1932, to Malcolm Truman Sr. and Ruth Ethel Collins Herrington, in Washington, Ind. He was married Nov. 8, 1952, to Anna Charlene Halstead in Indianapolis and she survives.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He moved to the Buffalo area in 1990 from Indianapolis.
He owned and operated Trealawn Landscaping Co. in Indianapolis for 10 years. He worked for 30 years for Western electric Division of AT&T in Indianapolis.
He was a member of Buffalo Christian Church and a member of the IBEW Union in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Mrs Lee (Linda) Stephan, Indianapolis; sons, Gary (Kathy) Herrington, Nixa, Mo. and Malcolm T. (Meg) Herrington, III, of Evansville; sister Jane Phelps, Indianapolis; brother, Dale (Patricia) Herrington, Monticello; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with Frank Hicks officiating.
Burial with military rites was in Buffalo Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Buffalo Christian Church Building Fund.
