Mrs. Bonnie K. Herget, 73, 512 E. Third St., Brookston, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

She was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Montgomery County, the daughter of Frank and Edna Mitchell McMurray. She graduated from Darlington High School in 1935 and worked as a Ward Clerk at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1912 [sic].

She married Herbert T. Herget, April. 5, 1937, in Coffeen, Ill. He died Dec. 9, 1990.

Surviving are four sons; Joe Herget, St. Cloud, Florida; John T. Herget, Shandon, Calif.; Robert K. Herget and Stephen A. Herget, both of Brookston. and two daughters, Mrs Rosemary Howard, Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Mrs Angela Haselton, San Bernardino, Calif.

One brother, Donald McMurray, Crawfordsville, also survives along with 27 grand and 4 great grandchildren. One son, 4 grandchildren, 1 sister and 6 brothers preceded her in death.
