Carl Edward
Hendryx, 56, of Port St. Lucie, FL, and formerly of Brookston, died Saturday,
Feb.
11 at
his home.
He was
born June 23, 1938 in Brookston to Chester "Whitie" and Susie Damell Hendryx.
He
married
Margaret Freeman, and she survives.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a mortgage company manager.
He graduated from Brookston High School in 1956 and attended Purdue University.
He was a member of the Sunrise Tabernacle Church, Ft. Pierce, FL.
Surviving with his wife and three sons,Troy L. and Stuart B., both of Conroe, TX, and Sean A. of Claremont, FL; two daughters, Beverly L. Hoover of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Cheri R. Fitzgerald of Port St. Lucie, FL; two brothers, J.D. and Rex, both of Brookston; three sisters, Edres "Eddie" Carter of Brookston, Sue Barrett of Fowler, and Dona Hansen of Jensen Beach, FL; and five grandchildren.
One brother, Gordon Hendryx, is deceased.
Funeral
services were held Tuesday at the Sunrise Tabernacle Church, Ft. Pierce,
FL. Burial will
be in
the White County Cemetery.
