Unabelle (Ballard) Heiny, of Sullivan, a former Medaryville resident, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes.

She was born to Oval F. and Mary E. Albright Ballard in Medaryville. She married Ronald 0. Heiny and he survives.

She was a 1956 graduate of Medaryville High School and had lived in Sullivan for 22 years.

She was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary No. 139; the Sullivan Elks Club and the Indiana University Varsity Club.

She was employed as a manager at Indiana American Water Co. and was retired.

Surviving with her husband are two brothers, Jerry Ballard, Medaryville and Tom Ballard, Tucson, Arizona.

A sister, a half-sister and two infant brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were Saturday at Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Medaryville with the Rev. Elmer Conley officiating.

Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Medaryville.
