Wayne C. Hasselbring, 59, R.2, Wolcott, died at Middle House in Indianapolis; at 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday. He had been a patient there for two weeks and had been in ill health for several months.
He was born July 6, 1929, in Mildord, Illinois, the son of John and Gladys Tubbs Hasselbring. He was married May 5, 1967 to Juanita Cooley. He was a farmer and had lived in the community all his life. He had served in the Air Force from 1948 to 1962.
A member of the Lafayette Church of Christ Scientist, he was a Past Master and member of the Wolcott Masonic Lodge, member of the Wolcott Order of the Eastern Star, president of the Wolcott West Point Library, active in the White County Farm Bureau and a Sagamore of the Wabash.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita, his mother, one daughter, Shed Hasselbring, a student at Purdue and two sons, Curtis and Doug, both at home.
One brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Foster Funeral Home in Wolcott. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
