Edna Joanne "Jo" Hart, 80, of Veedersburg, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at St Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born June 30, 1924, In Huntington County to Fred and Edna White Harvey.

She married Jack F. Hart June 30, 1946 in Huntington. He survives.

She graduated from Huntington High School and Ball Memorial Hospital School of Nursing at Muncie.

She and her husband moved back to the area in 1965 from Dowagiac, Michigan and she worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. until her retirement in 1986.

She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg and the St. Elizabeth alumni.

She enjoyed gardening and reading.

Survivors include sons Ronald (Diane) Hart of Buchanan, Mich., Jeffrey (Julie) of Monon and Kevin (Julia) of Monticello; brother John (Marlene) Harvey of Missouri City, Texas and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Services were Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery.
