DONALD E. HARNER

Donald E. Harner, 45, formerly of Brookston, died Monday, Oct. 25, at 1:25 p.m., in St Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Lafayette, where he had been a patient since Friday. He lived at R.1, Chalmers.

Mr Harner was a farmer.

Born Oct. 8, 1942, in Lafayette, he was a 1960 graduate of Brookston High School. He lived at R.1, Brookston, for a number of years before moving to Chalmers. He married Dorothy Jean Trueblood, Aug. 1, 1964 in Brookston. She survives.

Mr Harner attended Badger Grove Community Baptist Church. He served in the Army from 1960 until 1963, and was a member of Chalmers American Legion Post 268.

Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Penny Harner and two sons, Thomas Harner and Edward Harner, all at home; his parents, Frank and Virginia Harner of Monticello; two brothers, Richard L. Harner of R.5, Monticello and John Harner of Bloomington; and a sister, Mrs Jack (Sue) Peters of Livermore, California.

Service will be at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, tomorrow at 10 a.m. with the Rev Bill Radcliffe officiating. Burial
will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
